I learned a lot and enjoyed all of your videos over the last several years. He seemed like a great guy, sorry we lost Jed.
long time viewer of your videos @guilty of treeson and jed being in many of your videos.... sad day to hear that, sending many prayers to his family....
I learned a lot and yall inspired me to to start my own tree service here in east Tennessee, very dangerous work.
When you aren't afraid to say, love you man,it doesn't get any more real than that.💔
Real lumberjack right there. Born and raised in the business, ain't many like this man. I enjoyed watching him make it the fine art that it is. Lost skills of long ago men no longer know. Was like looking I'm the mirror. Your legend will live on Jed for some men never die.
No no no no no no!!!!!
I can’t….I’m crying.
It’s truly amazing you got to tell him you love him!
We neglect doing that so much nowadays
I’ve watched this countless times over the last few days and still can’t quite believe it .
Despite being on the other side of the Atlantic, seeing Jed smile to the camera whilst explaining something he is so passionate about has always struck a chord with me.
I’ve already said how much I feel for everyone involved, but I didn’t say how much I admire you Jake, for being able to make this video, I don’t think I could have.
I think he’d be very proud!
I don’t make a fortune, but some of what I do earn comes from knowledge I have learned from you guys.
If it was ever needed to help I would be more than willing to set up something monthly, it wouldn’t be a lot but if others were willing it would certainly add up….
God Bless you brother, yourself, Jed and his family will be in my prayers, so sorry for your loss...
Tragic, sorry to hear about this.
Great to have this footage for his family.
what a man big loss his poor family Jake FairPlay it was a great video to show your respects to your friend
So sorry for your loss. I have never been in your line of work, but I have been in a dangerous line of work. We make a choice to be in such lines of work, and we know the risks, even as we try to manage those risks.
Thanks to both yourself and Jed, from whom I have learned. He seemed like a great guy. So sorry.
Rest easy bro
God bless his family and friend's
Man so unbelievable
"With the souls of the righteous departed, give rest to the soul of your servant, O Saviour.
Preserving it in the blessed life which is with you, who love Mankind. In the place of your rest, O Lord, Where all your saints repose, give rest also to the soul of your servant Jed.
For you only love Mankind"
"Again we pray for the repose of the soul of the servant of God, Jed,
who has departed this life, and that he may be pardoned all
his sins, both voluntary and involuntary."
"O God of spirits, and of all flesh, Who have trampled down death and over-
thrown the devil, and given life unto the world: As the same Lord, give rest to the
soul of Your departed servant, Jed , in a place of brightness, a place of
refreshment, a place of repose, from which all sickness, sorrow, and sighing have
fled away. Pardon every transgression which he has committed,
whether by word, or deed, or thought, for there is no man who lives, yet does not
sin. For You are a good God, and love mankind, and You alone are without sin;
and Your righteousness is to all eternity, and Your word is truth.
For You are the Resurrection, and the Life, and the Repose of Your servant,
Jed, who is fallen asleep, O Christ our God, and unto You do we
ascribe glory, together with Your Father Who is from everlasting, and Your all-
holy, good, and life-giving Spirit, now and ever and to ages of ages."
-Troparion and Litany for the Departed, The Holy Orthodox Church
Looks like he had more than a skill he had a passion. In the long scheme of things going out doing something you have a passion for certainly isn’t the worst way to go. My condolences for your loss
Heart felt sympathy from a tree man in Cornwall. We all know it can be dangerous, but never think it will be us - or even less a great like Jed.
So sorry for all those close to Jed. Beautiful video, his legacy will live on in the wisdom he shared through your videos. God bless, RIP.
This tragedy is nobody's fault. I know you're thinking, could I have seen that? None of you did, because it couldn't be seen. I'm so sorry for all of you.
