I den här videon visar jag hur man enkelt kan våtslipa och polera bort en krockskada hemma, som i normala fall skulle innebära en omlack. Detta är ett billigare alternativ än att lacka om samt man slipper nackdelarna från en omlackering som lackskarv, färgskiftningar m.m. Denna Porsche 911 targa i videon har endast gått 3500 Mil och har en intressant historik och ägaren vill i största möjliga mån undvika omlack. I normala fall tycker jag inte att man ska våtslipa bilar då jag har ståndpunkten att man bör behålla så mycket klarlack som möjligt för att möjliggöra framtida poleringar. Men i detta fallet är det som tidigare nämnt enda alternativet för att undvika omlackering. Det går självklart att mäta med en lackskicktsmätare innan man sätter igång. Men de flesta mätarna på marknaden kan inte mäta på plast samt de visar endast hela lackens tjocklek dvs grundfärg, färg och klarlack. Så man vet ändå inte hur tjock klarlacken är. Men de visar dock hur mycket man polerat bort om man mäter före och efter. Så hem och prova ( på egen risk )! This Volvo 740 -1988 is a classic Swedish car and it has a severe faded red paint, faded plastics and an overall lack of love! Even though this car suffers from a lack of care, it is still nearly 100% rust free since it has been living in northern Sweden for all it´s life (no salt on the roads there during the winter months). I saw this car on an parking lot one day and I thought It would be a shame to leave it in this condition. So I asked the owner if he would like me to detail it and it ended up going nuts with ceramic coating and the full package! Unfortunately it had a very thin single stage paint, but it ended up really good anyway! Testing the All purpose cleaner and Brush from Valet PRO. Just a fast clean of the engine bay on my daily driver. Just using a garden hose in this video since all of you don´t have a pressure washer. Testar Valet Pro´s All purpose cleaner tillsammans med deras round wheel brush. Tog mig ca 5 minuter att göra denna motortvätt och använde mig av en vanlig vattenslang eftersom alla inte har tillgång till högtryckstvätt. Products: 🤍 🤍

This Volvo 740 -1988 is a classic Swedish car and it has a severe faded red paint, faded plastics and an overall lack of love! Even though this car suffers from a lack of care, it is still nearly 100% rust free since it has been living in northern Sweden for all it´s life (no salt on the roads there during the winter months). I saw this car on an parking lot one day and I thought It would be a shame to leave it in this condition. So I asked the owner if he would like me to detail it and it ended up going nuts with ceramic coating and the full package! Unfortunately it had a very thin single stage paint, but it ended up really good anyway!
