Within the past 8 years I filmed a few hard landings of different airplane types. In todays TOP 10 video I sumed up the heaviest landings I have ever filmed. Two of these landings were performed by Boeing 747` s at Maastricht airport. Don` t know what` s going on with the runway at Maastricht but I have seen a few hard landings at the small airport in the Netherlands. Maybe it` s the small humb near the touchdown area which makes the flare a little unpredictable. Some of these hard landings were also caused by the lack of flare in general. Check out the Airbus A321 of British which looked like the runway was just in its way during its flight. There was no flare at all. All aircraft landed and took off safely ! These pilots are well trained and airplanes are well build. Watch out for Embraer E190 Go-around at Birmingham EGBB Airport during Storm Ciara . The pilots received windshear warning at minimums and decided to abort the landing. The wind was 210°↑ 25 gusty up to 39 knots. Also in this footage Emirates Airbus A380 crosswind landing with an impressive reverse thrust , Boeing 787 takeoff during bad weather conditions and many more. At one point I had to stop filming , it was too windy ! Britain is bracing for more bad weather this weekend, with forecasters warning that Storm Dennis could hit the UK. 2022 all done! What a year for this channel! I spent a good portion of the year travelling the globe, covering numerous countries and multiple continents, plane spotting at an amazing diversity of airports. After a rough 2020 and 2021, aviation is finally back on track to its old self! With the loss of some beauties along the way, with many airlines retiring their amazing aircraft, its bitter-sweet, as they introduce other aircraft, and slowly bring some of their other aircraft back into action, such as the A380! I travelled so much this year, and loved every minute of it! Covering North America at airports such as JFK, Los Angeles, Miami and Vancouver! Covering a large portion of Europe, such as the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Switzerland and France... just to name a few! As well as covering lots of Asia, including some places such as Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand!! And of course, we can't forget about home! The special "Wildlife" Airbus A380 of Emirates is the most interesting Airbus A380 special livery which is currently cruising through the skies and yesterday it arrived at Düsseldorf during perfect weather conditions. L ast saturday I also filmed the special Star Wars livery of All Nippon Airways which arrived from Tokyo. Condor just started new long haul flights to the caribean and the new livery just looks stunning on the Boeing 767. It` s a pleasure to see these long haul birds on a daily basis at DUS from now on. Dear friends, after a long time we came back to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. I hope you enjoy our new planespotting video. Some onformation about a few interesting airplanes we caught: D-AEAG " Pride Livery" The DHL A300B4 received a "Delivered with Pride" Livery on his tail. The flag was painted to D-AEAG and other parts of the DHL fleet like 757s and other A300B4s before Pride month. D-AEAG was delivered to Japan Air System, as JA8377A in 1992. In 2003 the aircraft got the Dream Skyward Livery that promoted the New York Yankees Japanese baseball star, Hideki Matsui. In 2004, the aircraft was handed over to Japan Airlines. 2006 the aircraft was part of the Japan Airlines fleet and also flew to international destinations. In 2010 the aircraft was stored, as N2621, in the United States. One year later DHL bought the aircraft, converted the A300B4 into a freighter, and was re-registered to D-AEAG. Since 2011 the aircraft is part of the EAT Leipzig fleet. SP-LNF "Warmia-Masuria Sticker" The Warmia-Masuria Sticker on the LOT Embraer 195 promotes the Warmia-Masuria Voivodeship and is one of 16 voivodeships of the Republic of Poland and is located in the north-eastern part of the country. The capital of Warmia-Masuria is Olsztyn. The Embraer E195 got her Warmia Mazury Livery in November 2020. CC-CXD CC-CXD, now a LATAM Cargo aircraft, is an ex-LATAM passenger plane. The aircraft was originally delivered to LAN Airlines in Chile. Then it was handed over to LAN Ecuador for two years and was then handed back to LAN Airlines in 2012. After the fusion of LAN Airlines and TAM from Brasil, the aircraft was part of the LATAM fleet. From 2016 to December 2021 the aircraft flew passengers all around the globe. In December 2021 the aircraft was handed over to LATAM Cargo in Columbia and was converted into a freighter. Now the aircraft is flying cargo to North and South America and to Europe. CC-CXD after the conversion into a freighter the aircraft was not completely repainted into the LATAM Cargo Livery. That's why the cargo door is still silver, the windows are covered and parts of the fuselage and aircraft are not painted. The day before the arrival in Frankfurt, the A330 flew from the German Air Base in Cologne to Lisbon. After more than three hours on the ground in Lisbon, the aircraft took off for Frankfurt. After a quick stop in Frankfurt, the aircraft returned to its position in Cologne. The aircraft is capable of refueling three aircraft mid-air and at the same time. The A330 is used for Air to Air refueling but also for cargo and passenger transport, this was also the reason why the aircraft did a short stop at Frankfurt Airport.
