I grew up close to the Hispanic girls but I was truly the only one they allowed close to them or invite to their homes. All of them were very honest about the racism in their homes and their personal disdain for “normal” blacks. They informed me they are not even allowed to date blacks.

My kids and I are mistaken to be apart of Latin descent. Islanders are the first pick from people guessing. I have to convince people we’re black sometimes. People view black as low. So it’s funny when they want me to scream “I’m mixed I’m mixed “. Nah pretty sure I’m African American lol.
